But then name a phone maker that has not had issues. They all have had issues at some pointNot all people are in the position to sell and take a big hit on a phone. Pixels are not noted to retain their prices, and might be tough to sell with all the bugs being noted and more importantly, a lot of these bugs are noted by google; having held off their January update till the end of the month because they need time to work on the bugs.
With a statement like this from Google:
"The Pixel team paused the December software update to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro devices after some users reported calls were dropping or disconnecting. We have now identified a fix that will roll out in a software update by late January. This update will also include all the fixes and improvements that were originally planned in December."

It might just make others shy away....one example is me!
Some may just want to have hope that the bugs they are having will be taken care of by Google because they like the phone but are having problems and giving Google just one more chance.
It will be interesting to sit here and read if the fixes are fixed. And I will be doing that and keeping an open mind.
Would you have rather google ignored the issues and pushed out the update?
I think they did the right thing for their customers. They admitted fault and halted the updates to get it all sorted.
There are a ton of choices in the Android space and also the iphone to consider.
Hope you find something without issues and fits your needs.
