I put as much stock in this report as the "prime" swamp land I can sell you in Florida.

Best Buy, the worst source in this whole debacle, has already released it'll be 249.99 w/ 2 year.

I still, at this point, question:

Release Date
If Best Buy in fact has a "retail exclusive" with this phone
If the delays are due to iPhail, production, LTE service, skype, releasing a new LTE phone every week

And finally....
What if C-A-T really spells dog?

Just wondering... why do you feel it necessary to say "iPhail" or "i*hone"? Are you that insecure in your choice of mobile platform that you feel the need to belittle the others? It reminds me of the "SEGA SUCKS" days... Can't they all just be considered viable options and we move on?

It's a personal opinion and everyone has a right to it. I myself would not go as far to call it an iPhail but I don't think I will own an iPhone - I never have and I won't in near future anyways. For me, iPhone is certainly not a viable alternative for the Thunderbolt.

It's simple psychology. People associate themselves with the things they buy, almost like they root for sports teams. Some people see themselves as android fans and therefore "win" by saying that the iphone is a failure on verizon. It makes them feel good like they've won or become more important or cooler. In reality it's just plain silly, but many folks don't feel that way. But whatever floats your boat. The iphone is an excellent phone as well are many Android phones.

I call it iPhail because of the mindset of a lot of sheep that use it.

iPhone is a great product. They sell themselves. I'm just not a fan.

IN fact...I flat out despise OSU. Not because you don't have good teams...it's clear and very obvious you do. Great coaching. Solid athletics, even if you got caught bending rules and getting free ink but could still play in a bowl game.

I'm not expecting it on the 24th. It is just two days away and no dates announces yet. So I am not being optimistic about thursday. If it does drop that day, then a pleasant surprise. If not, at least i will not be too much disappointed.

On a side note...I've been pestering my Wireless Zone guy (my work is 100% VZW but buy our phones through WZ, they just take the best care of us)...
I talked to him yesterday about an iPhone and T Bolt. They still do not have the iPhone...

He said they are supposed to get both the TBolt and iPhone beginning of next week.
That is what he's been told by his distribution chain.

I know that's only the gazillionth different day and time...but I will be testing (and more than likely keeping) the Tbolt while my coworker will get an iPhone 4 for testing (up to her to keep it or go back to her berry...)

Just got home from BB and VZW, stopped to pay my bill at VZW and was talking with the guys about the TB, they showed me the dummy phone and i fell in love all over again, its one thing to see pictures and videos but another to hold the device, anyway they told me (at both places) it has been delayed from the 24th with no solid date, reason being skype wasnt working and that they are prbly going to send it out in the next OTA update..i got an email this morning on my BB employee email that stated the same thing. that is all

I know this is "mostly" unrelated, but I just got 3 Wireless LTE air cards today for work (free upgrades for my field folks)
Holy Shnikes is LTE fast.

Now...who's to say how fast it'll be loaded down, etc.

But I have a renewed sense of excitement for this phone...when we finally get it.

Here, I'll start it again.

I was at Best Buy about 20 minutes ago (Racine, WI) and there were apology notices (in writing/print, which I was directed to by an employee who though I was as upset as 'the last guy that asked about it') saying that the TBolt ad was a misprint and was intended to be removed before it went out.

The guy, said he heard the 28th from someone, but admitted that even he isn't relying on it at this point.

Here's to still being hopeful... :'(

Clearly no phone tomorrow, so everyone waits until the 28th and guess what... prob still no phone. This is like a F**ked up relationship where you think things are going to get better over time, but they just end up getting worse. It almost baffles me how such a big corporation would not address any issues what-so-ever. I don't care if it's a phone, television, car, etc... there is enough buzz on the internet to at least admit to *something* rather than being constantly "blue balled" by 4G and TBolt commercials n' crap. Personally, I've got no problem waiting another month or whatever but just sayn'... I've never seen such shotty marketing tactics before. The only good thing out of this is that whatever the problem(s) may be, at least we'll have a 100% working phone out of the box & I'm all for that.

I am with ya waiting. I am cool with it. However I always remind myself, "we" are not a majority of any peice of this. Enough of a Buzz? In the some tecj circles maybe. but lets face it first Verizon has over 90 mil customers, how many users on this forum? couple K's? Ummm that percentage is pretty dang low. Point being is that on some tech blogs/forums we are clammering.. I am sure some up at corp know, but really numbers wise we are a blip... IMO.

I want info.. just as bad as all.. but it will come when they are ready...
