Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

Found this interesting. Acutally confirms what I figured all along. The leaked release dates are being done from within VZW just to have fun with us waiting for the phone. I'm kind of sadistic so I find this very funny.

HTC Thunderbolt Release: More Fuel To The Fire ? Phone Reviews

I HIGLY doubt that. It would be very unprofessional and could come back to bite them really hard. Now that being said I'm sure there is some isolated giggles over our fanatacism...

I used my own email. Why would this matter? Not to be a ass. We need people to overload them with emails. Tweet it facebook it what ever it take. Email them till they freakout.lol

do you really think that would make a company release a product that might not be ready early? they want to sell phones, not replace them for unhappy clients.

I was reading "Coming Out With a Bang: Verizon?s LTE Lineup" and I thought I would share. Sorry if this has been posted before:

"Verizon is pre-loading Skype?s mobile video chat app and Electronic Art?s Rock Band multiplayer game onto its new LTE smartphones."

Rock Band? That might be fun, but I think I will delete it within the first few days.

"[Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Brenda Raney] says Verizon is on track to launch the remaining nine LTE devices within the first six months of 2011."

If the ThunderBolt is not released in Q1 2011, here is the "promise" that it will be out in Q2 2011.

"Verizon also will have to prove its devices can handle seamless handoffs between its EV-DO network and its LTE network. The launch of Verizon?s first two LTE-capable USB dongles went fairly smoothly, but the company had to issue a software fix on the devices after users reported delays of up to two minutes when the devices tried to switch between EV-DO and LTE. It remains to be seen whether users will experience similar issues with Verizon?s other LTE devices, but Verizon appears to have been able to solve the problem on its USB modems fairly quickly."

Perhaps another reason for the ThunderBolt delay?

"Announcing a phone is just announcing a phone," Raney says. "We fulfilled a commitment to our customers, and that?s the difference."

So where is our ThunderBolt release annoucement? Where is it already?

Fascinate: GPS does not work, 6 months no Froyo
Droid X: Multiple problems
Storm: 'nuff said

If Verizon has a policy of releasing perfect phones, it's a relatively NEW policy... like, it started yesterday.

Marketing Blunder: Verizon Sends “Thunderbolt Available” Flyers to Customers | Android Phone Fans

"Now Available" does not even annoy me it's the no price that pisses me off.

in my opinion, i believe the TB will still be just as fast as the bionic. if not, it will be faster. after seeing one of the hands-on videos it looks like the bionic is going to be a bit "choppy".

wow - I didn't even see that! miscellaneous caps and all...which brings me to the thought, maybe the AD is fake...they've got a marketing team - would they put this out?

Tell us, where you work?

That is a terribly punctuated sentence. FAKE.

its also grammatic incorrect.

Tell us, where you work? And get a discount on your monthly bill.

did a three year old write this ad? I'm not the best at grammar, but COME ON!
Makes it def seem super fake.

Tell us where you work, and get a discount on your monthly bill!

Not to mention the capitalized letters at random. Maybe Ben5 is behind this. Maybe there is a clue hidden in this ad.
