I've read that you won't be able to log into htcsense.com to control (wipe, locate, etc.) the thunderbolt like you can with the desire hd. I wonder why?

i read that too on htcpedia but i've also read where that is wrong and you will be able to b/c its built into the OS, not just an option, guess we will see...

Wouldn't surprise me at all if Verizon didn't want the Thunderbolt to have access. I'm sure with root we can spoof it back into functionality.

That would defeat the whole purpose of including sense 2.0. But like I said these are all fibs until proven other wise lol

I don't see were I'm being offensive? But I'm just saying I haven't found anything about htcsense.com will not work with t-bolt. I'm saying if u can show me proof of this the cool. But it doesn't make sense that they would put sense 2 on it an promote sense 2 on it but the key features don't work.

an just to see. i just emailed htc an asked specifics on the htcsense.com an thunderbolt features.

hahaha. well not to break away from topics. but i had long hair for along time, i also have a full beard...so people always said i look like jesus. i was even fake jesus for halloween one year. i just use this name in alot of my forums an gt for consoles. not to offend religious views of others. i respect yours tho i might not be on same page lol

that is all. lets get back to topic. THE BOLT

Don't forget though that another major difference is that the thunderbolt doesn't have the quick boot like the desire hd. It has not been shown on any video and that my friend is no lie.

Got any links? Everything I've seen, including it booting up looks to be of the normal slower kind.

I remember reading one of the stories from CES where they were touting that if you had to shut your phone off for a flight, when you got to your destination it would boot up in 8 seconds. I saw a video of the startup and it was about the same as my Incredible, so I'm wondering if the initial boot (after taking it off of the charger) is like a regualr android device, but subsequent boots (reboots after the intial but not after being charged) are of the quick boot kind. Basically it would mean that if you power down, it would actually put the phone into a sleep mode (unless you put it on the charger which would reset the quick boot feature) and allow for a quick startup. That's my take anyway.

The second link shows the quick boot
their should be two power off options one that is hibranate and the other is a full shut down I love that option I would be able to shut my phone down while at work then when I go to break it would start back up with little to no battery loss
