The typical HTC chassis is either plastic or aluminum with a rubberized cover. The Incredible for example was plastic but really easy to hold as the plastic was rubberized.

Any chance we could fix the Bolt's description in Forum Title. According to HTC's website description the Thunderbolt's FFC is 1.3 MP,not VGA.

kinda late on this. but i saw that some of you were asking about the notification light. its been shown in green. its also in red. i didnt see anywere that this was said. here is proof of red if you need it

There it is, I thought I'd remember seeing a picture of it being red. I was sorta ruling out this photo just because it's actually quite old (I think from early last november). But I probably shouldn't have. They wouldn't have any reason to change it.

Cool, so green and red colors are confirmed lets hope theres a blue diode in there toooo!!!

haha, yea its the same phone nothing should change. i hope for the rainbow of colors lol

but there has just been no leaks on this phone but pics. seems like last year phones leaked 2-4 months on the web with tons of photos an videos hands on. this thing had the most random photos an didnt get demo'ed till ces. an most of that is demos.

There isn't any led notification light on any phone that makes a rainbow of colors. They just have red, green and blue diodes, which can all be turned on and off to a varying degree to mix the colors to get whichever color you want.

Well all I need is red an green. The rainbow was just a joke. But iv never had a phone with notification light so even Just one color would be fine with me

Ohhh, haha I thought your were serious with the "rainbow" thing. Got me! At first i didn't really care the the notification light. But now that I've had it for a year, I have it totally set up to give certain people their own colors, and emails colors, and calls colors.. It SO handy to be able to just glance at my phone and know who or what the notification is without even turning on the screen.

I've gone without a notification light on my Fascinate and I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Surely I do think that every Smartphone should have one, and am a little perplexed every time one comes out without it, but it's never been a deal breaker to me.

I really think my favorite feature will have nothing to do with the hardware.

I seriously can't wait to be able to send and receive texts through htcsense.com while my phone is in my pocket, or at home where I forgot it.

I am a software engineering student and as such I spend a lot of time sitting on my laptop, whether i'm at home, at school, or at my friends i always have laptop. And I do like to text a lot. I dislike having to pick up my phone send a text and set it back down and go back to my computer keyboard, it will be SO convenient to be able to type all my texts right through my computer.

I know there are a couple 3rd part apps/services that will allow this, but none of them are very polished and convenient.

My Second favorite feature honestly might be the kickstand!
