Verizon is going to think they are having a DDoS attack from everyone hitting F5 on their website.
Just tried this. Played real dumb. Pretended I didn't know the name, but that I remembered hearing about it, etc. This is the response I got to me asking when it might be here:

I decided to sign up for the email updates and I still find it funny they have a box that says "Check here to sign up to receive updates from CES as they happen."
Guys, the iPhone 4 was released 3 days ago. Do you really think Verizon is about to slam the door in Apple's face by releasing its first 4G device, which just happens to be running Android, within just days after the iPhone 4 release?
I mean.. didn't the iPhone sales just flop?
You also need to remember that Verizon is not making money off of the phone, but rather from the contracts... If I were in their shoes, I wouldn't give a rats ass whether I got the contract from an iPhone or a Thunderbolt, unless the 4G was just a total money pit for them for the basic pricing...
I figure the launch is the 24th but I decided to call best buy earlier and ask about the supposed 14th launch date and said do you have them in stock he said no they didnt ship in on the truck but they were getting drop shipped and would be on sale tomorrow.... I will give them a call tomorrow and check but I am still thinking the 24th....
No the sales where a VZW record..but all online sales
and the Veriphone came out the 3rd for VZW customers and the 10th for all so technically its been out for 11 days
under plans go down to talk and text rate plans instead of selecting just a talk rate plan....
Yeah I just saw that lol but it is stupid for 20 you can have 5000 and unlimited Verizon or talk and text rofl!!
Hey how long has that htc thunderbolt ad at the top of the page on this site been there?? Have i really never noticed that....
Pretty sure they were told that the release date would be announced today. Since half these reps don't speak English well (and are probably outsourced) they most likely mistook that for the phone releasing tomorrow.
