Firefox. It always worked before. I thought MAYBE they were doing some changes.

just checked the android page on VZW's site, and they added a new phone... a refurbed D2....
I don't think VZW is scrambling. You jump ship, you pay an ETF, they get paid...if you bought your current phone full retail, they got paid...for every 2 people that have working AT&T service in their area there are 150 more people who don't
For those who aren't all gaga over a dual core process that's not proven to be faster they will probably still go for the TBolt... Even if AT&T was remotely good in my area I'm still waiting to see what's so great that would make me jump ship. There's no Gingerbread. Only 32GB total onboard. No unlimited plans.
VZW doesn't care. They will make their money regardless of the few people who say they give up and are washing their hands clean of them. If they cared they would've given an official release date and not have left people in the dark.
Been very quiet.................maybe the calm before the storm, thunderstorm.
LOL
Yes, and for once I am able to get some work done!
I feel your pain. lolYes, and for once I am able to get some work done!
i talked to another verizon rep in a store today at a different mall (my gf is a shopping addict lol)
they are pretty much doing "soft" pre-orders for people that ask
I left him my name and number he said he would hold 2 for me, so now i got 2 different reps at 2 different stores that promised to hold 2 tbolts for me..
he also showed me the dummy unit and some of the promo material they got
it wasn't anything special tho...
THE BIG SHOCKER, if you've been keeping up with my other posts
this rep ALSO told me that it wouldn't have 4G at launch, and you would have to order a 4G activation package that would ship with the sim card at a later date.
Just to stir up the mustard....if this statement is true:
The HTC Thunderbolt release delay does make sense when you bring the 14-day gap between the Feb 10th Verizon iPhone, and Feb 24th HTC Thunderbolt launch dates into consideration. This puts any iPhone devices sold on Feb 10th outside of the 14-day Verizon return policy.
What about the iPhones sold on the 11th, 12th etc. if Verizon is trying to clear inventory wouldn't they wait until the day until IPhones sales dropped significantly?

Like most of here I hope you are right! Did speak with rep yesterday to fix upgrade date ( returned dinc but verizon had not adjusted upgrade date) she knew nothing but as a happy user of Moto X would buy thunderbolt asap, would not wait for Bionic. A true 'afectionado'!
I'm in this boat...my Dinc has a shattered screen and I'm only going to be able to live with it for another week or so!It's pretty much impossible for me to wait for the Bionic if the May or June release date is true. My Storm will be lucky to make it to the 24th.
I don't mean to be a downer but I think a 24th release is actually looking quite bleak.
Considering we're a week away from the 24th and VZW has not said a thing. This is a huge release/phone for them that will bring their 4G network into the light.
Think about all the other really big releases like Droid 2, Droid 1, Droid X, Iphone, etc. We all new the release date for those at least a week before.
But here we are a week from the 24th and nothing. I highly doubt there's going to be a "soft" release when have they ever done this for another huge phone? And no one beside us forum people really know about the Bolt.
This is not exactly true. I thought I would be the only one that knew about the Thunderbolt in my company when our Verizon rep came, but surprisingly almost everyone asked about it before and after I went to talk to him. I think the business world knows about these devices because they want to get stuff done fast and currently LTE is the next generation in getting stuff done fast. We may be some of the first to know, but it doesn't mean we are the only ones to know.
