Thunderbolt Pre Announcement Waiting Room & Availability Thread.

I just called verizon to see if I could get my NE2 date moved up the 13 days to today- I explained I was waiting for the thunderbolt and the rep said she is anxiously awaiting its release also. She checked and said the answer was no, but the thunderbolt shouldnt be released before then anyway. Taken with a grain of salt...

So my buddy that works at a Verizon store has told me they received posters advertising the Thunderbolt with a March 11 release date. Take that as you will, but I find it pretty solid evidence and we will probably hear something from Verizon within the next week.

I wouldn't rely on email updates from verizon, just last week, I got an email telling me the iphone4 was being released soon, or that day..I forget, but it was long after the phone had been released, lol

I can't wait for it to be released so I can read all the good and bad reviews, before I take the leap. I just hope I can restrain myself to wait for a couple of weeks before making the switch. Been so ansie lately that've I've started to think about getting a xoom before the TB gets released.
