I agree. I don't think there will be much of a line, if any. I think there might be 2 or 3 people there before it opens, but it's not going to be like when the Nintendo Wii first came out and people were literally camping out, and that was still going on for a couple months when a new shipment came in. I don't think Verizon will be having a presale. I talked to a Verizon employee a couple weeks ago about a preorder and she told me that all she could do is put me on a list and order it for me the day it comes out or I would have to get to the store before they sell out of their initial stock. I told her that I'll just get their after they open and pick it up myself.

Anyone else been looking at all accessories Seidio is now shipping for the ThunderBolt, even the 1600mAh battery(which apparently is same type of battery used in HTC myTouch 4G), but yet no phone to go with all the sexiness they offer?

WOW! Anyone else little mad? That Verizon can tell us that tier data plan is coming in the summer but yet can give us a GOD D*MN RELEASE DATE. Oh wait those we should be excited because the Verizon Chief Financial Officer say will get taste of the tier plan on first LTE Phone(Thunderbolt). Why the blip would I be excited about tier plan!

He never said anything of the sort. The tiered plans will be ready mid summer. the Thunderbolt is launching sometime this month. It WILL NOT have a tiered data plan, because such plans don't even exist yet.

That being said, LTE might cost more, which is perfectly reasonable. But all indications that that won't be the case, because the Xoom won't be subjected to higher prices for LTE data.

they've been talking about tiered data plans since last year, this is old news as you can tell in the article there talking about there upcoming 4g and thats already out.

Tier Data Plans are old news just hate the fact they trying make it sound promising to customers. Then to go say well Thunderbolt is coming soon just aggravated the h$11 out of me. The article is actually current and on many tech sites to read and blogs.

It was but I can't find that particular article. Those I can find tons of articles of him talking about the iphone 4 release and how it relates to the data plans. Sorry I am trying to find it.

And that doesn't reference the ACTUAL prices. All it says is that there will be a tiered pricing structure on FUTURE plans. (oh, and that part about the thunderbolt has nothing to do with the part that follows it, about the pricing structure)

True...I still bent out shape this really not quite phone I was expected and to wait for a phone makes it worse. If phone turns into soft release we will be waiting for while before actually get some confirmation.


P.S Shortly and coming soon can be one in same depends on person saying and who is hearing it.
