why is everyone now so certain of the 17th, did something throw the 10th rumor out of the water and i know theres been no official date yet so is it just because we have no official date yet and 10th is to close so everyone's just moving on to the next thursday?

I think people should anticipate a 31st release date and be happy if its before then. I do think they want to count it in their Q1numbers.

I really wish that we could just get a release date to look forward to. Even if it is the last day of March. Really sick of this Dare. I think everyone has a smartphone but me! Even the parents have smartphones, even though they don't know how to use em. Grrr.

3rd time? no, I think it's the 5th time at least since release date rumors first started...

This is true. The people with their mathematical and strange connecting the dot theories to come up with a release date posts are the most entertaining. Verizon has some forum members here by their nutsacks.

I know right..I think people should expect the worst which I think will be the 31st from all the articles I've read and even at CES I'm pretty sure they said they wanted it out Q1. I really would be surprised if we get it before the very end of this month and won't be at all surprised if they give an official release date on the 31st for the first few weeks in April!! Those of us longing for this phone aren't even on Verizon's radar!!

thats what i have done. i set a countdown widget on my laptop and ANYTIME i see another article that says the release date has changed i change that right away, just to keep me sane.

Yea..Verizon is making it hard to stay sane and this was my way of accomplishing that. I still Google "htc thunderbolt" all throughout the day so I can see if there's anything new but even if there is you get 3 or 4 articles giving the same information.
