I would say that Tony Melone's statement rules out a Thursday release. But at least we may look forward to a 1st half release. :'( Should the GalaxyS II come first I'll have a difficult decision to make.

You got ctia coming with brand new phones I have a feeling sprint is going to come out with something good.... It will come out this month if not I see a lot of us just moving on the dumbest thing verizon can do is just keep delaying this phone
Yeah if this ends up being true (by end of Q2), I'd say I'm done waiting for this phone unfortunately. As much as I want to experience LTE and stay with verizon...I am contract free and need a new phone as well as my fiance. If sprint comes out with something really nice in the next couple of weeks I may switch on over. I live right in Baltimore so the coverage here is great.
Wow, this blows. I want a new phone now so I can finally ditch my Storm1. I don't want to buy an EOL phone like the DINC or DroidX. What other options do I have? I'm not switching from Verizon.
I'm still hoping for a miracle and that the phone will be released soon. At this point I just want to hear something concrete. Can we get an official statement? I think we deserve it!

im having the same problem, i dont want to leave VZW, and i dont want the iphone, and nothing else really is as good as the thunderbolt as a phone, i dont even really care about this whole 4G LTE network, just release the damn phone w/o it as far as im concerned, i just want the damn phone...lol
with new things i'm hearing.. i'm now convinced this phone isn't coming out anytime soon.. although i know this i can't let this thing go lol.. prolly due to all the time spending in this forum. i'll still wait till next thursday just for the heck of it.. since it probably won't be out by then anyway, i'll have to put up my seidio case up for sale.. and move on with diff phone.. only if i can sucker punch verizon ceo.. wonder where he lives ;P
i too have been impatiently waiting **** now i don't care if it releases the 10th or 31st i woulda had it day one if it had released on any of the previous rumored dates but now i'm in a lil financial hiccup and wouldn't be able to pick it up till 31st at earliest mostly cuz i refuse to get a 2 year contract and will wait till i got atleast $330 set aside lol
lol..I'm exhausted..the wait on this phone has basically drained me. I would be alright if verizon would tell us something even if they stated June its better than being left in the dark, what a terrible way to treat their customers, although I bet they could care less, that's the downfall of being on the "best network",(they make billions) therefore; customer service is TERRIBLE!

I've been talking with my cousin who works for Verizon throughout this entire TB ordeal and he finally called me today and told me their store will be getting it the 10th. He said he couldn't say anything more but his Verizon store would be getting them on the 10th. He's a manager there.
This isn't confirmed by verizon itself so don't take it as gospel, just passing along what he just told me. Note he didn't say the it was the release date, just that they would be getting them the 10th.
I'm not trying to be an attention whore or prove anything, just passing along the little I know to all the frustrated Thunderbolt fans here.
Hopefully all this nonsense ends soon and we hear something Official.

i doubt if they get it in stock on the 10th they'd wait till the 17th my guess is that it'll be in stock next week
Everyone should email VZW and ask why no release date has been released on the TB. I did and they called me twice to talk and email me 3 times to say sorry about my issues. I understand i didnt get much help ,but if everyone does this they will be reporting the # of emails to higher ups. We can not be heard if you dont contact vzw. Their not going to look at all the post listed here on android central.Do you look for problems or turn your head at them? Hell call their asses too , because they log all calls.
