Android processors and hardware is advancing so fast. It is great to see things advancing quickly like this, but in order to enjoy the upgraded processors and speeds, we have to have a battery that is able to power these devices so that we can use them. Like I said, I do not have a Thunderbolt, but it seems crazy to only equip the phone with a 1400 mah battery. People seem to be crippling their phone just to be able to make it last for 5 hours (example: Dimming brightness down to 25%). Bottom line is developers need to focus on improving the actual battery itself now.
This is easily the best phone I have ever owned. Battery issues are cured simply by turning the display down to 25-30%. I have zero issues with the phone.
Giving the phone a cheaper battery was a way of keeping phone prices down it is that simple.
If I switch carriers it would be for the EVO 3D. I need a FFC and a decent LED.
well they didn't have the extended battery and since today is day 14, returned it. back to the x, to all the tbolt owners still, enjoy ur phone. it was great while it lasted for me.
*Caugh* *caugh* Droid Pro * caugh* *caugh*I think it is just too different from BB and harder for me to adjust to Droid.
I've owned the following:
Blackberry Storm
Blackberry Tour
Motorola DROID
HTC DROID Eris
Palm Pre
HTC Incredible
Motorola DROID 2
Samsung Fascinate
The Fas satisfied me, but the Thunderbolt's definitely not the phone I want, it's the one after that...just like they said, lol!
i paid $30 extra for a 1 year contract instead of the 2 year contract. whats this extra $125 to $150?
Not so much a crappy speaker, you just can't hear anything unless you put your ear ON the speaker....and even then you have to concentrate to hear anything but muffled sound.
The normal price when I bought was 249.99 for two year... and 349.99 for a one year.
With a corp discount it was either 229.00 or 279.00 for a one year. I chose the one year and thought it was a great deal paying 29 more then normal price for a one year deal.
Now I'm seeing people paying less and it must have to do with the size of their corporation and how much they do with Verizon. My discount is for a small corp (about 70 phones)
KEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!! Both of them
No offense but many, notice I didn't say ALL, people that are having problems with this phone are new to Android and/or just have no clue what they are doing. Please return and get an idiot proof iPhone. Thx. Android is for the TRUE geek that likes customization and doesn't mind some tweaking.
