To those that owned the V20 since launch, how is your phone holding up?

I just want to know how many posts have you started?

I would also like to know.

And to answer your question, I've noticed no physical defects, no screen scratches, only some screen burn in in the notification bar, but it's intermittent.

Mine has been fine. Well gave it to my fiance to go back to my note 5 til the note 8 comes out. V20 an excellent phone for LG fans.

I had some hang ups not too long ago that I actually was going to post but they have seemed to clear up after some soft reboots. My screen would freeze for like a minute and then come back. I thought it might be a certain app that I'd install but I never install weird 3rd party apps, lol. I think it may be from not rebooting my device after awhile perhaps?! If I get them again, I'm going to erase my 1k plus pics and down size my 200gb micro sd card which is 75% full right now. If that doesn't help then I'll just start from scratch again (FR). Otherwise, its been fantastic!

Still perfect except for the screen retention. I'm the one who got the screen replaced and got another screen retention on the new screen. I rarely put my brightness to 100 percent. still got it.
In a group of v20 users in WhatsApp, almost all of us are having screen retention.
It's the only prob I have with the V20

I'm going to assume WhatsApp is not the common denominator.

No big issues here. Been swapping 2 batteries and keeping a third one for 2018 so I start next year with a really fresh battery. There is no question that over time, these batteries lose their punch. I'm getting less SOT and having to do more swaps than I did 6 months ago. The fast charge is still working well. I'm going to keep my V20 thru all of 2018 and 2019. I do not think we will ever see another new phone that can be opened for battery swap. Sealed phones are going to be the only choice from here on.

We are forever more becoming more and more a disposable society. There's no good reason to do what's being done, however people like their shiny new toys and most of us are guilty of it in varying levels for any given product.

Bought from and used on AT&T from day 1. No problems whatsoever.
Switched to Cricket June 16, again, no problems whatsoever.
Brightness set to 80% no screen retention issues.

Sad that removable batteries ended with the V20. Possibly, a manufacture will come out with one? But I highly doubt it would be good quality. V20 is a legend.

Well I haven't had the V20 since release but my husband is using it now and for some reason his messages are slow to come in. Like I can text him but he wouldn't get the message for another hour or so. Didn't happen when I let him put his SIM in my S8+ so I'm assuming something is going on with the phone.

No issues. Sometimes gets hot if I charge while using. To be expected. It doesn't overheat nor restart.

I get screen retention. Had it on my first phone which I bought at release. Now phone 2 is showing signs of it.

Love it, had it since the day it came into the Sprint store (thanks to Samsung and the whole Note 7 "thing").

Been going strong, got me WAY more into taking photos because of all the options. Love those cameras!

It has become a bit sluggish, I need to restart it every couple days or so when the battery usage drops. Can usually go all day listening to podcasts and occasion screen usage. At some point, it'll drain fast almost dead by lunch.
Did a factory reset and this helped speed up the OS a bit but the battery usage issue remains.

Also just today I noticed the second screen stopped giving me controls for my podcast app. I use that feature every day several times a day.

Had mine bout 8 months in a defender. I'm an outside kinda guy. So every 4 to 6 weeks I take it apart clean it up and back in the defender she goes. The phone looks like brand new and I'm a heavy user so the battery is not making it. Will be ordering new as soon as i get rid of this truck payment. Love this phone and will go to the V-30 when it happens.
