Torn between 120Hz and QHD

120Hz for me too, but Adaptive ON.

When it's not needed, I never notice it scaling down, when I "need" it, it works flawlessly for me.

I tried a day with the higher rez and no 120 and it was a very painful day for me, so back to 120Hz, it is night a day as other said, but the better rez, not so much.

I don't see an option for 120Hz without adaptive on. I'm not really interested in that feature but I'm curious how you have that.

I just switched mine to 120hz. Gonna try it for the rest of the day and see if I really notice a difference and how much of a hit on battery it is.

I didn't notice I was even on 120hz on my note 20 Ultra. However, once I played around with the settings and went back and forth, I can absolutely tell the difference. Just try reading text while scrolling. With 60hz, I literally get a headache. With 120hz, it's the same as if it's sitting still.

I wonder if those that don't notice have larger font sizes. My font is tiny, and it is incomprehensible to me that someone wouldn't see the difference.

As the title suggests, I am super torn between deciding what will be my default. The120Hz is buttery smooth, but I really had no complaints with the 60Hz refresh rate. The drop-off between QHD and FHD is not as dramatic as I thought it would be, partly because this screen is so bright (definitely brighter than my Note 10+ is) but it's definitely noticeable. The screen is (for me) the important feature ever since my first Android phone. It just sucks having to chose either or. Either gimp the display, or gimp the refresh rate... Not sure what I will ultimately chose. I'm going to give both a fair shot and decide which I'm willing to give up. Wonder how everyone else feels about it?

Always use 120 but when go youtube bixby routine do max resolution for 4k videos then 60 enough is and videos is at max resolution this way no need manually shange in settings quit youtube and bam auto 120
