UPDATE THE LINK IS LIVE 6/20 *** Sprint Premier Customers Can Buy Evo 3D NOW !!!

Yeah, "Art" and "Deborrah" both indicated that it would be release at 8am central and that there is no way to distinguish between premier and non-premier, but they've "never had a problem with the FIrst to Buy program before," so they aren't worried about it... Sorry guys, but I won't be the one to post it here (out of fairness to all the people who have earned the right to order early with their premier status). Maybe they'll have some way to charge those non-premier people for the full price of the phone when they try to activate it :p. A lot of people over there aren't very happy about that news though. The whopping 5 or 6 seconds I'll have to buy the phone before the link gets posted is hardly a premier benefit in my opinion.

P.S. Art said a couple times that he is the one charged with releasing the link and has even told us what the thread will be called on the forum. So unless someone has a way of monitoring Sprint's site for new pages that aren't listed yet, no one will have it until he releases the link.


Are you referring to Art at the sprintuser forum ? I would suppose that anyone receiving this link are receiving it through the Sprint Premier emailings that only Sprint Premier customers get ... Wherever the link is posted wouldn't matter anyway because you will definitively have to order by signing into your personal account, so once you do that they know if your eligible or not .
 
I just ended a chat with a Sprint representative and am VERY mad... Turns out even though i have been with sprint for 12 YEARS, I still never got submitted for the Sprint Premier membership! The worst thing is that even though the guy send a form to make me a premier gold, it will take effect on June 30, meaning i wont be able to get my Evo on the 21st :'(:'(

BULLSH1T on that ... Call up Customer service or better yet The Sprint Premier Specialist or contact them in the Sprint forums ... There is no way you should sit back and let someone who knows nothing tell you that you have to wait ... Someone can note your account immediately .. GUARANTEED !! ;)

Yes thanks a lot, I will be contacting them as soon as i get back from work. I will be threatening to leave them after 12 years if this issue doesn't get resolved. Hope it works :)

Contact the retentions department. It costs them a lot more losing a longtime customer like you than to give you a quick upgrade. I'd be surprised if they don't hook you up.

I agree ... If the first ... second ... or third line of defense doesn't work with Customer Service then tell them to connect you to the Retention Department ... They are the last line and always has the power to do EVERYTHING ... They will definitively get you squared away before the end of that call.

Even though I am a business account, my small family business has always been a part of Sprint Premier and had the "show me my rewards" link. I noticed that link was now gone so I called again to PREMIER CARE then was told by a rep and her supervisor my status was not showing up correctly that they would submit a trouble ticket and it would be fixed in 24-48 hours. Link was still gone that I've always had and that I now needed to order my EVO 3D early so I call back and told the same thing that its an error then this supervisor tells me that business accounts are no longer included in Premier... has anyone else experienced this or had any luck in restoring the status like consumers have?

The way that I always handle sprint is kind but firm ... Customer service is designed to give you as little as possible kind of like a filter ... if anyone tells you they can't do something kindly ask them to the person that can do what you need ... They will deter you but be strong ... Eventually you will reach the Retentions Department ... They will ALWAYS solve your issue if you have been with them ... Most people stop at the first or second tier and that is what sprint wants ... Believe me ... The Retention Department is there to retain you ... KEEP YOU WITH SPRINT .
 
Anyone know if stock sells out, they will stop taking orders? I'd hate to try get it on the 21st and end up on backorder.

They might have only a few set aside for premier online orders and now that we know the link will be public, it could sell out in minutes.

I have a preorder at radio shack and I have a feeling I would be better off picking it up on the 24th, at least I have a guaranteed date.

I believe that they said they while supplies last for the 21st. So I think that would mean that they'd stop after selling out.

I agree ... I don't believe they are going to start selling phones they don't have ... If they allow you to purchase that means they have it in stock ... Otherwise when you go to order it will say " Out of Stock " and will not allow you to proceed further.
 
What will get this phone into my hands fastest:

1. Going the 'Sprint Premier' route, ordering it at 12:01am Monday Night/Tuesday Morning (or as soon as possible) and having it shipped to my work.

2. Buying the $50 Sprint gift card today at my local Sprint store and getting in line about a half hour before they open next Friday so I can get it almost as soon as the doors open.

WITH sprint online, over night shipping is the norm. I have ordered 8 devices online and all but one came next day. The one that did not was ordered to late in the day to come next day. No extra charges for the shipping.

I haven't done it as many times, but my experience receiving phones from Sprint the next day is similar to that of zmann. I'll be ordering early from the Sprint website, though it is not a guarantee that it will work this way.

One other advantage to in store purchase is that if there is a major flaw in your phone, you can take care of it on the spot. I'll still be ordering over the web, though.
 
My last online order took two days from order. I though that was good though considering I ordered at night. Every shipment since where overnight including replacements.

Well you would not notice anything wrong with it until you were home anyway and you would have to go back to store,, same thing online,, if anything wrong you can just take it to any sprint store. I remember when I got my pre, that night I had trouble with the power button. I took it to sprint store and they just took it and gave me a new one.

On the 21st(or near there) I will get an email saying I can now buy an Evo 3d. I will then go online to my account, click on my rewards tab, and the link will be there to buy it. Nowhere does it mention a forum or community.

So, does anyone KNOW different? Not just heard or read from "Art" (no offense, but I don't know/of him)
Im sticking with what Sprint says to me directly. I cant imagine they would make a premier customer register for forums to buy early. Not all premiers care about the community like us mega nerds. ;)

It doesn't matter if the link is made public. Unless you're a Sprint Premiere customer, you won't be able to order. They will make you sign in to your account before placing the order if you weren't already logged in.
 
It should just show like the other phones listed to order today under "My Device".
