i just went back to see what my status said... is this normal and what does it mean???

"Status: Your order requires some validations in order to complete processing. To expedite processing, please call 866-456-0575 between 8:00 a.m. EST to 11:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday or 9:00 a.m. EST to 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturdays or 1:00 p.m. EST to 7:00 p.m. EST on Sundays."
You might wanna call...this is what mine says

"Status: The order has been submitted and requires manual processing. If there is an issue processing the order we will contact you. "
 
Tip:
After getting the "We're Sorry" page I clicked on the link to "leave the beta store" refreshed and then I got my order through.

Woot!

Me too. Anything else, if they don't call during the time you selected, call them. It's probably a bill to account problem or something.

Funny thing, while most of the SPrint site is down, anyone can go to the "store" and buy the EVO 3D right now. I walked all the way through a new account until it came time to input important stuff, like me and payment. It's there, at the top of the phone list, but it's the old design store.

Strange. Me thinks there are some Sprint folks working their butts off right now!
 
just hope whatever validation is required doesnt have the supply run out before they finish it... i dont think there is anyone i can call at this hour looks like once again im screwed
 
They handled this HORRIBLY, as usual. I tried right at 12:01 and it's still down. Needless to say, I am betting money when it's back up they will be out of stock for 3 months like last year.
 
I finally got kicked to a chat, where the rep insists the phone isn't available until the 24th.

Curious, out of those who got through to order, how many are Premier members?
 
Can't find the link, with the site getting hammered I can't get the thread to load where the link was posted. Anyone able to PM it to me? Thanks
 
If you go to sprint.com --> log in, go to shop/phones--> you will see the evo 3d if you are a premiere member.

towards the top you will see you are at the: Sprint Premier Customers Private Store

I cannot go to "my accounts" because that part of the website is down but I can access "shop --> phones"

and by the way, the link was officially available a little before 11:30 pm central time. People on the sprint premiere forums were given the link right away. By midnight central time the servers were starting to bog down.
 
Yeah, doesn't work for me, premiere member. I am on east coast time, so I am way past bedtime. Sucks, staying up all night and it didn't work out.

Glad for those who got it. This is more like the lottery it seems.

yeah looks like you had to be on right when they activated it, I am able to log in but can't get into my account, shop -> phones, or to the forum where the link was.
 
I received an email from sprint with a link to order the Evo 3D. I was able to order using the link even though the sprint site has been down.
 
What happens when you try to order the 3D from the shop? You should see it under phones in the shop.
