Updating "Contacts"??

With the handwriting input added in the recent big update, I've been using the watch more and more to send quick texts. Problem I'm having is the contacts listed on the S2's "Contacts" app are out of date from what's currently on my phone (seems like they just downloaded when I first set up the watch and haven't changed since). Could anyone suggest a way to update them without doing a major reset?

I haven't tried it but maybe turn off bluetooth and turn on wifi and see if they update? others reported back when they were setting up for the first time that the contacts wouldn't sync properly over bluetooth.
