About an hour ago, I sent a very politely-worded email to Google's customer service asking to please have the shipping portion of my Nexus 7 purchase refunded to me. I fully expect it to be ignored or form-responded with no money back to me, but you never know until you try.
Google Play order from June 27th (16gb) still no activity either..
GS guy who sold me his pre-order said what he was told is that the delay was from the Apple suit against search. Take it for what it is worth though. Also stated that they would be making an announcement today.
I called Google's support line, automated message says first wave of preorders shipping today, the rest going on Monday.

Well i'll be damned. Shipping started today and the rest go out within the next 3 business days.
ok then, i'm a believer.
Means at the latest all pre orders should have their Nexus 7 by Friday next week seeing as they promised 2 day shipping.
