It's at least a real tracking number. Haha. I checked it. It hasn't left the shipper facility yet though.

The email he received wasn't from Google, as a note. It was instead from UPS via their service that notifies you when a package is marked for delivery at your address. He got a notification that it would be delivered tomorrow, however, the tracking information shows a Monday delivery date.

Lucky! I see the link that says "help center". I wish they would change that, it is freaking me out.
I was wondering about the wisdom of putting that up. Perhaps a mod should pull the image down here as well. Not sure I would want my address floating around.

I agree, but this guy actually had a reason (excuse) for that: Apparently he is signed up to recieve notifications from UPS (Plus Tracking) of when a package is to be delivered. So this was not a Google notification; it was a UPS one.... Not defending the guy, but just a thought.
No more rumors or bullcrap. I went to the McDonough, GA GameStop on Jonesboro Rd. and talked to Jeremy(the district manager, also my good friend) and He said "if you preorder the Nexus 7 tablet today (July 12th, you'll get it as early as tomorrow. Yes, you guessed it. You'll get bumped from 2nd wave to 1st wave.)" If you preordered on Google Play you'll have to wait til' August 3rd-7th. I waited two hours on the phone with a Google rep., named Goonie. But, as I digress You can't cancel til it ships to your house, unfortunately. I offered my email and they said they still can't cancel it.) So hurry up and preorder at Gamestop, If you're in a hurry. They only have 1 or 2 left in each store, so preorder tonight(July 12th). I am over thrilled with joy. It is also $10 less and you only put $50 down and they deduct that from the original price. You'll end up having the 16 GB version for around the same price as the 8 GB version. So, suck that Google!

I just received this from UPS My Choice. Looks like it'll be here tomorrow. Google initially charged my credit card, but it fell off a few days ago. No recharge, yet. I ordered July 2 from the Play store.

Tracking number is valid, it won't show an origin city until it is scanned at the facililty. The UPS account number it is shipping under is 7f382v. If any UPS employees are on this board they can look it up and see who it is. It shows shipping today with a delivery of Friday but it is clearly a 2-day tracking number, so it should show Monday delivery..... odd.

Here's what i see right now. Although i was a late order and put it in on the 6th. I got my order in before the 2 - 3 weeks changed though
That tracking number is real. Ups sent him that email notifying him that they have received a package for that email address. They don't show any info about an address yet because the package has not been scanned into ups's system... but everything else checks out. The package is said to weigh 1.7 lbs and is being sent 2nd day air. Which Google said it would be sent.... hopefully this is it guys. (CROSS FINGERS)
