tried with usb storage on and off.

Help! I have a Samsung Fascinate that was with Verizon. I brought the phone to Straight Talk and has been working great, but I hate the old stock OS. So I rooted and flashed to Jelly Bean.
Was a smooth transition. But I noticed that when I text someone they get a blank text, and no one can text me. I tried a number of different JB roms, all with the same problem. If I flash back to stock it works great. Any ideas?

I cant get the FascinateRoot_v02 zip file to download. Are any of these links still good within this guide??
