So is the prime a nexus by sam?
They are just referring to the next Nexus as prime right now. HTC has a windows phone coming out called Prime

Abso-frickin-lutely!Come on now, let's be a little honest - Sense adds things to Android that is missing in stock. Specifically in the contact management part of it.
Abso-frickin-lutely!
Sense does bring a lot to the table. The contacts management alone is the biggest reason I'm partial to HTC devices.
I never understood why a plastic body is such a huge negative to some people. Probably because I always put cases on all my phones - so they all feel the same.
That is why I underscored nexus______ in my next device. If it is going by prime, who is making it and where is it headed? Verizon? Motorola Metal? Something so epic? Or just some more of the same. third carrier, quantity overseas manufacture? That is why California Apple bodes better with me, and the materials they use are NOT fantastic plastic, mold-able to the elements. Can you imagine a metal glass nexus? That would have me spinning in happiness. I love hobby class RC's, and everything that breaks (plastic, because it is cheap and NOT strong) I replace with aluminum or carbon fiber. Material is material. I just don't fan plastic very much, low tolerance for breakage.
Last I recalled, all screen sizes are measured diagonally. With that being said, just because they remove the buttons at the bottom isnt going to change how big the phone is unless the screw with the ratio. Then it would just look silly.
Only gives you space at the bottom of the screen is my point not on the sides. To fit a 4.6 in screen in the same frame they would have to increase the side width too. Cant do one without the other and keep the same ratio
It was mentioned the 4.6 screen fitting into the 4.3 frame. So by default it was mentioned it wouldn't be wider.
Yes if they remove the buttons diagonally it will change, however every screen regardless if its a CRT or panel have an aspect ratio. That is the measurement of the top and sides of the screen. By just removing the buttons you are only changing half of that ratio. To keep the ratio which it currently has the short and long sides would both have to change so it doesnt look goofy and stretched.
yes but if they just stretch it out length wise, then they could be going for more of an HD screen ratio (closer to 16:9) than what is currently offered in the nexus s
Except for its already 16:10 now as it is. That and 16:9 is the most common rations used. Aspect ratio has nothing to do with HD. HD is is how many pixels they cram into the screen to get the smoother shaper HD look.
