Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

I went into the Apple store last night to check out the new iPhone 4S just to make sure I didn't need or want it. To see what else it could offer me that I don't already have on my cracked-screen iPhone 4. The answer was "not much, just faster with an annoying robot voice". I spent the next half hour surfing the web on it googling the Galaxy Nexus.

Then got mad when I couldn't load videos from tech blogs on it's super tiny screen and left the Apple store for good...

I heard that it can be used as a telephone. You can call people anywhere you want to with it. True Story.

;)

Now all I'm curious about is whether or not the battery stays at 1750 mah on this LTE version. Its slightly less than the Razr which has a smaller screen and supposedly a different LTE radio that uses less power. Samsung opted for 150-200 more mah for their larger versions of the Galaxy S2, so maybe the same principal will apply to the version that wields an oh-so battery friendly LTE radio.

Anyone notice the dates of the leak. The Rezound and Nexus are Nov 10. If you look below this the Droid Razr date is 10/27. THis is the preorder date, not the in store date. My guess is that the Rezound and the Nexus will be available for preorder on the 10 and in stores the 17. The Razr will be in stores probably the 3rd or the 10th. Just a guess.

Could be right, but if you look at the release dates listed for the Bionic and the Rhyme, both of those dates are accurate. It is possible that those dates were changed afterwards though

Anyone know if there's a pic floating of a Verizon branded one? Just curious if its in the front or the back...

And to the poster asking about changing the lockscreen shortcuts: chances are you can't out of the box. Just think, the app would have to have a white icon to go with it. CM9 will probably feature this eventually.

The Verizon model was what Googled demo'd shooting the time lapse beach videos. There's VZW's "4G LTE" logo on the middle of the back....not sure if they got their logo anywhere on the front.

Call me strange, but i really hope not. Something about the untarnished look of a black screen....

p.s. That picture had the 4g logo and Google logo. Some sites also posted the pic of the front which had no labels.... wondering where the Samsung logo falls into all of this by launch.

Just out of curiously, is everyone here from the US?

I'm now trying to future out the actual release dates of the phone in Europe and Asia. No news about that anywhere.

This is the Verizon thread so...

Hah, POTD.

And yes, while it's not a question of IF, because it's practically a given that it will be offered overseas (Or at least be available to get because there will be GSM versions), there isn't any news on release dates/rumored release dates for any other market than the US (AFAIK).

Here is the release information for the N1 and NS though, you can take it as a speculation piece:

South Korea July 10, 2010

NS:
