Man I'm really digging this phone. Only think I dislike is "LEARNING" it all over again. So I found the first think that is annoying to me tho lol
Who else has this advertising while it's on charge?
I charged mine with the cable this morning and didn't have that... Maybe it's a wireless charging thing or some app? I can't believe that would be normal...Man I'm really digging this phone. Side note....(no pun intended) I'll try to remember to take all pictures in landscaping mode so you all are not bending your necks to see the pictures better.![]()
I agree, I believe that it's the free version of "Alarm Clock for me". I have the paid version and noticed this morning I had it listed twice. I removed it free one from the phone. That's a 3rd party app causing the adds. There is no always on display clock that looks like that.

The paid version is a very good alarm app Btw.
Okay this is strange. I preordered my Note 8 and received it yesterday. I gave my S7e to my husband (did NOT trade it in). I only paid taxes when I preordered. Nothing else paid on the Note 8. Yet I checked my VZW account this morning and see that it states I've paid $330 to date? Cannot imagine why. I did go through the previous Note 7 issues. This happen to anyone else that did not trade in their phone?

Lol my account been all screwed up since the note7 thing. My note8 says something simular. I switch my phones from time to time by switching SIM so I can have my preferred number. Did you switch sims when you gave your husband your s7e?
Yes. I put my sim from the S7e into the Note 8. He put his in my S7e. Would be nice if this is real and not a mistake.![]()

I've had this happen before. If you just switched Sims, it's actually showing you how much has been paid on your S7E since the device payment plan is attached to that phone number. If you look at your other line it should show the balance for your Note8.
My gift registration (360 Camera) from Samsung has been approved as of 1:28 PM EDST on 9-6-2017. Six to eight weeks; Samsung has, graciously, sent my previous gifts within ten days of approval even as the stated lead-time was six to eight weeks.
I sent Verizon back my iPhone 6s plus for this phone. Won't be missing it even though I had it almost two years. This note 8 is that amazing already.I also came from the iPhone 7 Plus. Been loving the iPhone 7 Plus but really wanted the Note again.
Actually, I spoke with Verizon last night. There was no record of a return box shipped and no record of my request to trade my note 5. The rep said I could take my note 5 to a local Verizon store. She did specify that it had to be a Corporate store and not a licensed dealer.I'm waiting on my trade in return box as well. They told me I have 15 days to return my trade in once I get my note 8. However, like I said it looks like my return box has not even shipped out to me yet. I guess I will be giving them a call sometime today. They also told me that I can not turn in my trade in to a local store. But yea, I think you have 15 days to return your trade in.
Edit: To be more specific on the process...they send you a small box with a pre-paid label to send it back to them. Just make sure (if you have an iPhone) that find my iPhone is disabled and that you have completely erased all of your personal stuff.
Edit 2: Does anyone know if we have to return everything that our trade in came with when new? Example: charger, sync cord, etc.?
