I have been getting the texting to the wrong person for a while now... What it does is this... Whent you reply to someone by text, sometimes it goes to the wrong person, but the person it goes to is one of your saved texts.. I tested this. I left 4 saved texts to the 4 people I text the most & each one has gotten a wrong text intended for one of the other 3. Then I deleted all & sent myself a text.. Then I texted my brother & I received my own text.. This doesn't happen all the time, maybe once or twice a week.. But you can see when its going to happen to.. When you send a text it goes thru pretty quick, when its going to happen it seems to think for an extra few second, then the screen blinks a bit.. But thank God(htc) they fixed this.. A girl I know well was dating 2 guys.. She sent a reply text to her girlfriend about one of the guys & the other got it.. So was NOT happy..

1) Download keeps failing
2) I refused it 128 times and it installed itself one night without my authorization!
3) Why do I have to have it if I like Froyo better -- VZW Nazi's!
4) After I installed it my battery sucks -- MORE
5) After I installed it my signal sucks -- MORE
6) After I installed it I lose my data connection -- never happened before!
7) I hate the new UI!
8) My texts STILL go to the wrong person!
9) My "xxxxxxxxx" app stopped working. Worked fine before VZW FORCED the GB update on me in the middle of the damned night when I was sleeping with my girlfriend!
10) How do I get this GB POS (which I never wanted) off of my phone!

quick question, I'm stock rooted so I can use wireless tether. Do I need to unroot the phone to get the update? And after, can I root it again the same as I did using revolutionary? Thanks

#2 and #3 are legitmate complaints imo. I already know one of my favorite apps will never be compatible with gb (from the developer)

Number one will be voicemail notifications if they don't work, followed by it's not as awesome as I thought it would be (they really should have sense 3.0), and then WHERE IS ICE CREAM SANDWICH?

You can refuse/defer them for awhile but they are eventually forced. That's why VZW's instructions say "mandatory".
Edit: Rooting will prevent them.

Rooting is the only way to have full control over your phone.... then you decide what goes on it and what doesn't.

When we finally go Froyo on the Fascinate it took 13 post in the "Froyo is here" thread before someone brought up the "Where is GB" question. 13 posts. I was stunned.
When my Charge finally gets GB, I am taking the under on 20 posts before ICS is brought up. i wish I didnt have to pay for all this flood damage so I could make a killing.

It's out, just checked at the stroke of midnight and the OTA hit my phone. I think it was about 146MB, downloading now.

Just checked for update and I also recieved an update. It is 146mb also. Downoading now.
