Verizon LTE outage

Thunderbolt owners are reporting that their phones are only running at "1x," which is slower than 3G.

I actually ran a few speed tests to compare the two that I was getting by switching to the Rev. A 3G. 1x was actually faster, barely. Both were under 0.1 mpbs.

!st POST!

Wish I didn't have to post here because of this issue.

I do have 4 bars of 1X here in Seattle...YAY:-\....Trying the ##778# to go to 3G till this is fixed.

{edit} Even with the REV A enabled I'm still only getting the 1X. Bounced back and forth for a bit and now I'm stuck. Forgot a step...be sure to hit menu and then commit modifications. That will make the phone restart......now I'm in 3G. Kind of ugly.

I WANT MY 4G BACK!!

I was wondering what was going on. Stuck at 1X in Richmond VA and we don't have 4G yet.

They are still working on it:

RT @VerizonWireless Investigating 4G LTE network issue; ThunderBolts making voice calls, may get slower 1xRTT data. Will update here.

I have 1x with my Thunderbolt, but the guy next to me at work who is using an old Droid has 3G. So why/how is it only effecting the TB?

Are we going to get to pro-rate our bill after 24 hrs of down time?
I'm NOT paying big bucks to be using circa 1990 phone service.

The world's most advanced 4G network, run by the world's least advanced 4G engineers. *headdesk*

I wouldn't count on it unless you call. Although, it would be nice if they would to something across the board for people with impacted devices that essentially NEED 3G at minimum to function appropriately.
