Verizon LTE outage

The really strange thing is that even before I got the 1x issue, my GPS has been locking on lightning fast last evening and this morning.

Usually takes about a minute and a half to two minutes to get a lock and now it just takes seconds....and I can get as accurate as 2 meters at times.

My guess is no one calls verizon anymore? Well i did and first thing he noticed was my line had a 4g phone told me there is an outage that occured during an update affecting all markets not just 4g. If you have a 4g device it is included. Both my ThunderBolt and mobile 4g hotspot are having this issue in a non 4g area not for about 300 miles!

I swear between this and the PlayStation network fiasco, I'm about ready to give up on technology and move to a cabin in the mountains. If I need entertainment I'll smoke a blunt. At least I can depend on it.

I flipped mine to Revision A and CDMA auto PRL.
Now I'm uh...basking in 3G goodness. It kinda feels like I'm cheating myself with 3G....

That happened to me yesterday morning. Once I rebooted the phone I was able to get a 3g signal again.

Well, that depends on your source. From what I hear, sometimes they put some funny stuff in there. I suppose if you move to your own cabin in the middle of nowhere you can grow your own. That would get rid of the middleman and the risks of unknown substances.

Just changed back to eHRPD (I think that's it) and switched to CDMA/LTE Auto and rebooted. We'll see....

I'm still at 1x right now in Western PA, in a 4G area. And yes, I got a random reboot, too! Even had a strange icon in the notification area about not being able to set the time zone.
