I had google voice as the default VM but now its VZW visual voicemail. Can't seem to change it either.

Don't want to jinx it but I thought I noticed a battery increase. Also seems like Active Notifications aren't as sensitive to movement as they were. I.e. I can move my phone subtly without triggering them.

You need to re-forward your unanswered calls etc to Google Voice. I think it takes 3 different fowards: *71xxx, *90xxxx, and *92xxxx

May be simply a "placebo effect" but I also think the Active Notifications are not as sensitive.

Battery is absolutely better. And it's significantly better, not just a minor improvement. Particularly the idle drain - very impressive.

I think so, not 100% though. I don't quite remember going to that screen, but what I do remember is chuckling at the line on the developer options page that says "geeky stats about running processes". And that blurb is associated with 'process stats', so take it for what it's worth.

I disagree about the battery, mine is going down faster and the phone is getting hotter. I am at 83% after 90 mins. All I have done was place 1 15 min call. 20 min of web surfing and played a few games of Othello. At this rate I will need to turn advance calling off.

^^ Folks on the Droid Maxx thread have said the Advanced Calling features drain the battery faster. Perhaps that's the case and it's just that idle drain is slower, I dunno?

Wow do I ever agree with this. I have noticed a huge increase in battery. Gonna do a drain and see just how long I can get. Ill post photos sunday here and the battery life thread in case anyone's interested.

I dont have advanced calling activated due to coverage in my area. So yes the idle drain is half what it used to be.

I had to redo all of my google voice stuff. I actually even started with a new number because I couldn't get it to work.

Process Stats. Yes. Its more accurate than the default battery stats and GSam.

I'm seeing better battery, better wi-fi signal, a faster camera shutter speed, and louder call volume (had to turn it down actually).

I'm going to play around with the camera more, but I think this update addressed most of the major issues with this phone.

That's definitely something to get excited about it. I just wished that VZW would put out a proper, detailed document on the enhancements and fixes. You would think with all of the improvements that they could use some additional positive press.
