Try Uninstalling Assistant. Then plug phone in, not in download mode. Assuming WIN. Make sure phone USB mode is System Update. Windows should ask what you want to do when device inserted. One of the options should be run Verizon Asst. Asst should install and start.
Assuming all of that happens then unplug phone put in download mode and try Asst again.
I had same 83% problem and above method fixed it. If that doesn't help I have no other suggestions.

It worked for me. I'm not sure if I'll get Verizon updates again since it says I'm still on arl1 but in my info it says cb3

I downloaded the new update file and it shows CSB3 but when I go to software update it shows last update was ARL1, assuming Verizon rolls out the CSB3 will I still get the future updates after that?

Mostly likely Verizon update is going to come with April security patch

Just messing....yeah they are most likely to be with CSB3 no more sideload

Best I can tell so far, the only things you will miss out on by jumping straight to CSB3 is an issue with the compass and maybe a Bluetooth problem.

You should bypass CSAA and go right to CSB3. In basic terms, CSB3 is CSAA with a few fixes and February's security patch.

I am not sure about Odin, but can confirm that the Verizon Upgrade assistant has a version for each.

How do you downgrade from pie to Oreo using the Verizon upgrade assistant? And is there a step by step tutorial on how to do so using a MacBook?
