Verizon Prime Ad

I just heard an ad on the radio (JUST NOW) that was advertising Verizon's anniversary or something with the Verizon NASCAR car. They claimed to "have deals on smartphones like the HTC thunderbolt and the new prime." This was scheduled for this Wednesday. Could the phone really be coming out this soon, or is this some sort of promotion/coupon deal?
