It's recommended to do an SD partitioning to dedicate more space for the much larger size of Sense 3.0, however several folks including myself successfully installed w/o partitioning. There's some tweaking needed to fit apps on, but there's actually a 'low memory wizard' to help move apps 2sd or uninstall. Every now and then I can tell I'm pushin it, but 90% of the time it runs smooth as butter. The customization is out of this world!

I liked it, but considering it took me about 5 minutes to unlock my phone every time it woke from sleep, it still needs a bit of work.

Update from this morning, I guess partitioning may have some other more battery related benefits as I'm down to 63% on mostly 'display' usage. Although it's also showing the dialer with 14% and I haven't even opened it, so might give the partitioning a shot tomorrow night.

Its deff a cool ROM. but needs much more work to be a daily for awhile.
I kind wish virus would pick a rom, stick with it till it actually is in a full working state before moving to the next, but I cant complain much since I am not a dev.

The 5 min lock screen thing should just be when sense first loads off a boot. After that is should run smooth.
Maps crashes constantly, sense will go into loops if you try to use youtube. I forget what else , but was pretty solid otherwise.

partitioning has nothing to do with the battery. My battery usages went down with this rom too, but it was dealable I guess. My screen time was chewing it down. Maybe with checking time all the time and watching all the cool animations. hahahaha

decent rom some cons all my Gapps have forced closed annoying and no 4g setting which i thought was in this rom :( . anyone know how to fix said issues with the gapps and 4g lmk please..... no issues with unlocking my device or anything along those lines intial boot was laggy but took about 5 mins to load.

I'm running the a.01 version of the ROM and I have 4G working fine, along with VVM (no ghost texts), google nav works but Gmaps will freeze after a while..

going to flash the new B1.1 this afternoon and see how that works.

I had to give up the ghost last night. I'm really hoping once I have time tonight to partition my SD card that the system will be able to handle this size rom, as the only problems I found were Sense functions FCing. So many UI options and just such a beautiful overlay, if I were selling the Android OS to an alien, I'd want to show it with Sense 3.0 for sure.

from I read on his thread, stability is dependent on hardware first. if you hav 03 you may be OK, but it is flakey on 04. moreover it causes overheating issues which lead to some of the problems with battery usage and lockscreen. trying to run something designed for a faster processor has inherent problems.

overall - this does not look like a very stable ROM or something that someone who is not well versed with Android and ready to dig in should try and run.

I have 03 HW and it was pretty unstable for me. Google maps would not run, but this could be due to the low memory issue with the installed apps and the large amout of space that Sense 3.0 takes. Not sure. I did like the enhacements to the UI and the new mail layout and functionality. The lock screen was pretty flaky for me so between that and Google Maps not working it was a show stopper for me. I will definatly be trying out new releases to see it's progress. This really is the beauty of rooting, we can have it all on one device! EVO Devs are awesome! Makes me want to never leave my EVO...
