VPN connection problem on Huawei p9

Guys,

I have a Huawei p9 EVA-L19 device running Android Marshmellow 6.0 and EMUI 4.1, I have installed the latest two updates available for it normal through the updater (I live in UAE), I have noticed a drop in the stability of the VPN connection after the update and then the VPN services stopped completely from connecting with the latest update, I have tried all VPN software even I tried to set a VPN connection manually but that didn't work also, I would appreciate your help on this one, I really need to have the VPN in order to use calling features offered by skype and whatsapp.

The problem is not with the VPN provider, I have tried almost every one even the one you suggested yet no connection
