Want To Be Eligible to Upgrade to The E3D ... Just Email Sprint

Got a response from the sprint cares email and got denied! Was told i do not meet the criteria. Any suggestions?

I didn't get a response from the "Upgrade..." e-mail address. I did call the 877 number and spoke to a very nice lady, but got a response that I haven't heard yet on this thread. My "full upgrade" is currently scheduled for 4/1/2012, and I was one of the people put into Premier Silver, but she said I could get that 4/1/2012 date moved to today if I pay $105. It looks like on this board that other people have gotten this courtesy for free...anybody have ideas on why I'm different? Should I just keep calling back until I get the answer I want? :)

Do you have a $105 balance on your account? Keep calling buddy. I was due 04/2012 as well but I got my upgrade in 20 minutes after a 5 minute phone chat. Did you specify that you are asking for a manual upgrade reset?
 
i called yesterday and just told them that i wanted to get the evo 3d and if they could give me the full upgrade and they where able to help me out.
 
Long time reader of AC, registered just now because of these forums. Just sent my e-mail, and if I'm denied, I'll just use my other line which is available for an upgrade and swap the esn numbers over the phone. ;)
 
Don't do the email, just call that number. I just my upgrade so I will be picking up my phone tomorrow!! Call took only 10mins and I didn't even have to ask for manual override, she just did it for me. *Muah* thanks Sprint!
 
Did mines through the sprintcares link yesterday. They sent me an email earlier today approving my upgrade which would have been April 1st 2012. :)
 
Just call 1 877 775 4886 and ask for a manual upgrade override. It will show in your account in within 20 minutes.

Just called that number they reset 2 of my lines and she is sending me a booster for free cause I told her the service sucks at my job. Very helpful lady at Sprint.

Called the number. They said they got my upgrade restored. Said it would take a while for it to show. Just gotta wait and see now.

They wouldn't do it for me either, but he gave me an extra 300 anytime minutes that I dont need. The rep was trying to get me to add another line and he would just suspend one of the lines for 6 months so I wouldn't have to pay. I was like that is too much going on lol.
 
Wouldn't do it for me, but I guess that's because I'm not eligible for the upgrade until September 2012. They actually recommended me upgrading my other line and switching the esn's. I thought was funny because I always felt shiesty doing that. They did, however, give me the free signal booster as well, but it's 4.99 a month so it's not entirely free. I'm ok with paying 4.99 a month to not have to go outside to take a call.
 
Yeah this is the case. I just called and since my upgrade is more then 10 months away they were unable to help me.
 
My primary line is due for a upgrade in September my second line January, I called sprint and at first no luck with the upgrade, so I went on to ask about the signal booster that someone mentioned earlier cause signal at my place sux, wow, that did the trick.... Lol he asked me with an obvious wink wink in his voice if I felt that sprint was in danger of losing my business because of my reception issues. Well..... YEAH that's possible.... So, free airwave device, service, activation, and shipping included, AND early upgrade on second line, 3d ordered and shipped... Thanks J. I love being a sprint customer....... :) oh yeah, I also told him straight out that I got the idea to just call and ask for the upgrade from this forum, he said he doesn't post but reads it alot to keep up with the latest conversation going on, and said that being a member and being informed about things made him more willing to hook me up, gotta love Lloyd fans.. Lol ;-)

I would assume another call to Sprint should get that 4.99 credited back each month.....again, not that big of a deal but for 4.99 a month, you are probably better off paying an extra dollar or two and get the insurance....
 
Wow! I finally got a reply back from the UpgradeRestore email box, acknowledging my first email to them (days ago). I told them that SprintCares already fulfilled my request.

Anyone else starting to get replies from that mailbox?
 
I emailed them abt a cpl hrs ago. I just recv'd a reply. Their reply: Our system is overwhelmed with request. Expect a reply within 10 days.:p
