Mine says the same. Ordered at 12:30 am the day it went on sale. Says preparing to ship with ship date August 17 or 18th. I was hopeful because last year for the note 5, it actually shipped the Friday before they went on sale and I had it on Monday. Oh well. Will keep hoping for early next week.

My AT&T status changed to Back order !!!! I placed the order on the 3rd at 530 am !!!!!

I called AT&T they assured me I will still get it between the 17th and 19th. Not sure I believe that. I told the AT&T rep I ordered it on the first day at 530am

Maybe hit up their Twitter account and tell them that T-Mobile is already shipping them out. Some are getting them by Monday

Same although I did get an email from AT&T this morning that simply said "This email confirms recent activity related to your wireless account and explains how to access your Customer Service Summary" hopefully that is a good sign since I haven't made any changes besides the preorder to justify this email
 
My card has a charge pending for taxes and AT&T says preparing to ship with ship dates of Aug. 17- Aug. 18.

Yes I've got the same email! That changes have been made to the plan. So I'm hoping that they will charge the card soon...
