What does you AT&T order status say?

I agree. The crazy thing is i cant cancel my order, when i try to it says it has already been sent for shipping. Yet when i chat with att they say its on back order, but they cant cancel it. Back order would mean at this time they dont have a phone for me. So how is it, when i try to cancel it says it has been sent to shipping. No sense at all.

call the order status number, and then click 0 to talk to live person. If it's been shipped they can give you tracking numbers.

When I first opened the UPS package I was like freak* AT&T cheated me out of a box then I open the phone fell in love and say forget it

Did AT&T at least give us all the adapters and headphones that were supposed to be in the box?

I received the exact same information. I will probably pick it up at a store, or may even go to Best Buy, tomorrow. If they eventually send it I will just return it. Frustrating.

Yes it is a generic AT&T box

Ahhhhhh.. Maaaaaaan.

Its not enough that they brand the back of the phone... they gotta put their generic box on it as well. I would like an explanation to why? Does Samsung charge them for the box as well that they feel compel to use their own AT&T box? Which then I'm not so sure since compared to other carrier if I'm not mistaken AT&T charges more for the Note7... is that due to Samsung using AT&T box instead of their own?

Samsung has to place their Phones and accessories with AT&T box which then perhaps Samsung charges a fee which then AT&T attaches more money to the Note7.

View to my right out of my window is the driveway, anxiously waiting for FedEx truck, so is my cat it seems :D

I asked why ATT is using different packing materials instead of the Samsung box. This is the response from ATT:

Jessica G: I do apologize, AT&T does have a contract with Samsung provider. Our AT&T warehouse is the one that processes the orders. We as an AT&T family like to brand our packages, however all the original packaging is provided in the box when delivered. I am very sorry you have been affected by this. I can guarantee you that all the products shipped out are original Samsung products.

I replied with: "Except the box. I understand the process. My question was why. The S7 had original Samsung packaging, the Note 7 does not. Why?"

*stirring the pot over there lol*

The explanation is that carriers are money-grubbing POS and everything is seen by them as nothing more than an ad opportunity. Did you see where Verizon is going to force their crap app downloads on people now?

Hit them up on twitter and ask. Lets start a movement. #wewantoriginalboxes I hate the ATT box.

Man these first world problems are killing me!! Hi, I'm Chris and I have a problem.........

I'm on with them now getting a $40 credit on my account because of the price difference from other carriers and the "inferior presentation and unboxing experience" lolol

HAHAHA, outstanding. I would love to hear the recording of that conversation.

Todd- "Yes, my unboxing experience was not very pleasant. This box is orange, white and very cheap."
att- "I'm sorry sir, I'd be happy to help you with that"

Did anyone else end up with UPS ground as their shipping method? This wait is killing me. I keep hoping that it won't be out monday and somehow that was just a mistake :(

Via chat- I'll paste the whole thing here. lolol It's classic. They transferred me via chat to another person to apply the credit. We shall see.
