Even with the bubbles I'm happier with the Whitestone Dome than I was with the Invisishield.I want to get one badly, but I keep hearing bubbles and I know I'll get them.

If need be can the Whitestone glass screen protector be removed without damaging the Note 8 screen.
It peels off no problem, just go slowIf need be can the Whitestone glass screen protector be removed without damaging the Note 8 screen.
Doesn't it leave glue all over the screen?

I posted in the other thread in this Accessories section.
I did my research and I am not finding any glass protectors that are highly-rated and that work for most N8 owners. It's easy to find some Whitestone lovers, but then there are so many that really don't like it. There is the endless number of glass protectors on Amazon, but so many of those are elevated to near-perfect ratings by really dubious raters. I just complained to Amazon today about one of those that has 60 4-star reviews, the only problem is that they all have the same buying history. Bogus, fake reviews.
Maybe we need to wait to see if something surfaces that works for just about everyone - especially important when it comes with a $40 - $50 pricetag.
I have a highly-rated film protector on my N8 now, and predictably, it's perfect - except for stylus use - it's just too soft for that. At least it doesn't fall off or suffer from sensitivity loss like most glass protectors - and it costs $8.
I welcome all glass protector advice on this front!
I love the Whitestone as well, but one of the ones that ended up with bubbles on my screen. I'm EXTREMELY happy with the feel of it, but I find it almost absurd that the manufacturers of the tempered glass can't come up with a better system seeing that the edge phones have been put for such a loing time. I wrote to Whitestone because the price is absurd to the one chance you get to place the protector on perfectly the first time, but they did give a second bottle of adhesiveI would think that for the most part, users that don't like Whitestone either had problems with installation, or had cases that weren't fully compatible.
The install process is definitely more demanding than most, and it is possible that there are variations in the amount of glue that is present from one box to another. So there are a number of people who understandably are not happy with Whitestone, especially considering the fairly high cost.
But there are others, including myself, who absolutely love it. I was fortunate, and careful, during the installation, and had no issues. The feel is great, and it should provide protection as good as anything else out there.
I'm not aware of any who have a successful install that don't like it, or want to switch to something else (I could be mistaken, but I don't recall any posts like that).
I'm not a Whitestone 'fanboy,' just one who is very happy with the product. I still think the cost is a bit absurd, and giving you only one piece of tempered glass adds insult to injury. I think they would actually do better by selling the glass by itself, at a cheap price, so you only have the one time investment for the install jigs, the glue, and the UV light. That way if you mess up an install, you're not out a big chunk of change.
I purchased a lower end RTGLab tempered glass protector with a cut out on the top and it did the job last week when my phone fell from my pocket to the ground. Screen protector broke and came off but the screen was perfect. I did not like the loss of edge/curve sensitivity with that $8 protector nor did I like the grungy stuff that collected between the case and the edge of the protector at the top so I looked for something else. I just installed an Olixar full cover tempered glass protector. It installed perfectly and it appears that the sensitivity is as good across the entire screen as the bare screen with the peace of mind of having a screen protector. The Olixar cost $25 for 2 and I received it in 3 days via Amazon Prime.
