What is the best tempered glass screen protector for the S7?

I bought on ebay a first one, a simple one (not tempered glass) but the protector is way to narrow. I have 2-3 mm on each side of the display area (I'm talking strictly of the part where pixels are displayed). Thus in total 4-6mm of the display area is not protected.


Leaving aside the reason for which such protectors are sold (there must be one, even though I do not fully understand why you leave out 6mm of your screen uncovered...), I just would like to find a screen protector that covers all the display area (at least fully the part where the pixels are shown).

Samsung's screens are curved at the edges, not conducive to rigid tempered screen protectors. I gave up after getting the same thing time after time. Sammy put aesthetics over practicality leaving us tempered glass fans in the cold...bad move. I finally went with a film protector, which I absolutely hate...horrible feel but covers well. I'd look into alternatives if I were you.

Unfortunately, here at the beginning of 2017, it looks like there's still not a good option for a completely clear, 3D curved, tempered glass screen protector that covers the entire S7 screen. I bought an ArmorSuit MilitaryShield screen protector for mine, and I've been happy with it. It's film, not glass, but it looks and feels decent, it does cover the whole display, and even after six months, it has no bubbles, peeling, or other problems. Plus it has a lifetime warranty. If you buy one of these, you don't just get one; you get as many as you need for the life of your phone.

Bottom line: it's not glass, but it works for me.

I've found through just 1 purchase on AMAZON with the iTURBOS tempered glass cover that it covers the screen edge to edge but is not case friendly with either a OtterBox Symmetry or CASEOLOGY Skyfall series and shows fingerprints and does not come with 2 protectors as advertised. I have that one. I hate it. It's far from smooth, I've lost some touch sensitivity and it scratches super easy. It's like a 10 cent China screen protector from 2005.

I'm on my second Zagg tempered glass screen protector and really getting annoyed by the dirt that keeps getting in on the sides. O would imagine all tempered glass screen protectors are the same for this phone mostly, but if anyone knows of a better one I would love to know? Also I have a Speck Candyshell case so idk if the full coverage would work with that case on the S7?

I can second this. It's literally the only screen protector I've used on the S7 to date that works as perfectly as possible. It feels much better than your generic plastic protectors, and the we apply made it easy to align.

I've tried a few tempered glass and it's always the same story: adhesive only on the top and bottom with lifting in between, or too narrow sides that expose way too much screen (and collect a crazy amount of dust). As such, the ArmorSuit is the only way to go.
