I would like a patch to separate the phone and notification sound, I leave my phone on 24/7 so I only what the phone to ring @ night not to hear all the other sounds set up for other stuff like email , FB, twit, etc. This is the 1 BIG thing I miss over my BB. or maybe some can help me a split it with an app or something.

I've been on 4.0.3 ROMs for weeks and love it! That's why I bought a Nexus device. I am using it for its intended prupose . Otherwise I would have bought a phone with a locked bootloader and listened to all the ing about lack of updates.

I will never be caught by Verizon. That fear doesn't even cross my mind.

no... but you can make it yourself. The source has been available for quite some time now. Otherwise, you can root/rom or wait. This update I believe has a radio update (leaked a while ago). If you compile 4.0.3 yourself, it doesn't include the radio... or Gapps.

WOW! You just don't get it. I won't get on the soapbox but maybe this is why insurance premiums for everything are so high!! Please look up the word fraud. Then check out ethics and integrity because you obviously don't know the meaning of those either.

I really hope they take care of the signal. This is my biggest complaint about the phone--the battery could be improved as well-- since i love everything else. I just cannot wait.

Interesting. I haven't read the terms on this site, but on every other forum site I've belonged to, advocating a criminal act (in this case insurance fraud) will get you banned, suspended or have your posts deleted at a minimum.

Dropped signals are my only complaint as well. Is there any credible evidence that 4.0.3 actually addresses signal issues (not just 4G/3G hand-off)? I'm just trying to figure out whether I should sit tight or request an exchange. I keep it it CDMA only most of the time and it still drops.

I rooted my phone and installed the 4.0.3 radio. It does switch faster and I didn't notice any signal improvement. Who's to say though if the final version will be any different than this version that Google released.
