I couldnt hold back, lol. Already ordered it. That is just too good of a deal. 18 bucks free shipping, cant beat it. it ships from china, so no wonder the thing is so cheap.

I don't know if I could trust ebay. I've heard many stories of people receiving fake cards that only contain 2 or 4 gb.

I doubt it. It says free shipping, they cant charge you more then what you have paid already. I made the paypal payment for 18 dollars. I dont even have a paypal account so I dont know how they are going to charge me more. I dont even think it is possible to charge me more then what I have already paid. These cards are made in china and are dirt cheap so it is not unrealistic to see them at that price.

Plus the seller has 161 positive feedbacks so I doubt he is there to scam me for 18 bucks, if that does happen, I guess it will be a lesson well learned, I highly doubt it though.

well since its worth 18 dollars I highly doubt it would have any custom issues, if I was spending few hundered to a thousand I would be worried and probably wouldn't have ordered. I guess its a gamble, but I would let you guys know how it goes.

sandisk has nothing special in their cards, seriously. Patriot, kingston, pny, they all get their stock from the same place most likely. They all come with the same warranty so there is no point. I work retail and we get the least amount of returns on the sd or micro sd cards. I bought an adata card for my moms camera when the class 10's were fairly new and its been a year and the card is still going great.

I didn't say that Sandisk has some special sauce in their cards, just that there are a lot of fake cards using Sandisks recognizable name.

Kingston makes good memory yes. I would read the review to every card, espcially class 10 32gb cards to see what people had to say about them, I read a lot of reviews of other brand cards that would work for a week and then loose all data, or just stop working altogether or just didn't see the proper amount of memory or lacked the advertised speed.

My apps that are installed partially on the card get updates. The OS knows about the app because only the bulk of the data is on the card, the important stuff is on the phones internal memory.

Does this change if you move to a new phone completely? So if I migrated all of my apps from my 8gb card on my 4g to the new 16gb card i will be using on my 3d. I just dont want to miss out on updates to the app. I know I have read this on another forum in here but dont have first hand experience. Thanks for the reply Manny!

I've read the article on preparing for the switch from Evo 4G to the Evo 3D, and I understand the points being made about backing up apps.....but what still is puzzling me is the transfer of the apps that I've transferred to memory card. They continue to get updated, as Manny mentioned, but I can't copy them over to a new memory card for the life of me! Again, I've literally copied and pasted ALL content on the old card onto the new card, but when I test the new card in my Evo, the apps that were transferred to SD card are no longer there....help please! Thanks!

Yeah I ordered a 32 gb card that was 19.99 and supposedly a class 4 from ebay but had this killer feeling that something was just wrong. Next day Ebay sends me a message saying that the item was cancelled and my money was refunded because it was a counterfeit card or something. Be careful with those ebay buys, don't go after anything that is Buy It Now that isn't over 29 bucks.
I got a 32GB generic china one that is class 6 for 35 bucks and am pretty pleased with it so far, I guess we will see when I get it into the phone...

I only have the 8 gb card in my current Evo and will of course get another one of those together with the Evo 3d. I plan of having all sorts of stuff on my E3d, so I want a big card, and I want a fast card, possibly a class 10. Did anyone do research on this as far as what brand is good and reliable and actually achieves the advertised speeds?

That's been sold out for like 2 weeks now. Do you know how long it usually takes them to get new stock because I would like that one and have been waiting for it to be back in stock? I'll just get the class 4, 32gb card they have on sale for $50 if no new stock is put up.
