Who is getting a 32 gb card for their Evo3d and which one?

I only have the 8 gb card in my current Evo and will of course get another one of those together with the Evo 3d. I plan of having all sorts of stuff on my E3d, so I want a big card, and I want a fast card, possibly a class 10. Did anyone do research on this as far as what brand is good and reliable and actually achieves the advertised speeds?

All the manufacturers stretch the truth for speeds. If anyone knows a link to a current comparison of benchmarks, that would be great to see. I have a class 10 32GB one that I put in my EVO 4G. Works great, but no clue if it's getting the advertised speeds or not. It's definitely faster than the 8GB one that was in it.

Did you try running some benchmarking program like SD Tools to see how fast it is? What brand is yours, how much was it, and where did you get it?

Wow, nice...that's some serious speed. Yeah I am definitely not getting a class 10.

Wow. My Sandisk class 2 16GB card is getting 18.5 MB/s write and 7.7 read. BTW, 720p video recorded on my EVO is <1 MB/s so the minimum rating on my card would be sufficient if it ever came to that. Isn't something like a class 10 overkill?

I just bought this card.

Amazon.com: Lexar High Speed MicroSDHC 32 GB Class 10 Flash Memory Card with Reader LSDMI32GBSBNAR: Electronics

I did a google search on it besides reading the reviews on Amazon of which the great majority were 5 and 4 stars, and found articles and reviews on it on popular websites like Phone Arena, Slashgear, Engadget and BGR.

It's quite a bit cheaper than what ordering directly from Lexar would cost you, $92 compared to $149. Hopefully it will work well in the Evo 3d. Seems like Lexar found a niche in the market that other makers of these cards haven't filled yet.

I just picked up a Patriot 32G Class 10 from Frys for 100 after taxes. I needed new memory for the comp so I figured wth. Works just fine in the MyTouch 3G I have. I have that in the phone and the now replaced 32G class 4 to move around files and such.

I have that card in my Evo right now. It runs like a champ :).

I have the Lexar one in mine too. No issues with it.

Thanks for the feedback on this card. I've been looking for a good 32GB card. I thought about getting one of the $50 ones, but I think this one will be worth the extra cost. I just bought it on Amazon, and thanks to the $20 credit from buying Portal 2, I got it for $71 :) There were other places that had it cheaper (~ $81), but I've come to trust Amazon a lot, so I got it there.

Be careful of knock offs....i've seen some knock of 32 gb micro sd cards....they just don't work. You get what you pay for. I think im going to be on the safe side and order directly from the vendor. Ever wonder why a retailer would offer an item for much less than what the vendor does? I'd just be extra cautious when ordering these since they can easily be knock offs

I got an SD card once that was supposed to be 8GB but someone had just changed the mounting info to read 8GB but the actual space was 2GB. When I tried to go beyond the 2GB, it stopped working (I haven't looked into this in a while, but I seem to remember reading that it writes over the header info and so it can't mount anymore).

Anyway, the Lexar above is sold directly by Amazon.com (not some third party), so it should be pretty legit. Where you get into the most trouble is eBay.
