Who's going to pay full retail price for the Incredible?

I got my Droid in January by adding an additional line to my contract. I did the smart thing and signed up for the 1 year contract.

My Primary line is due for an early upgrade in October, but I will wait until Feburary when the 2 year contract has expired. That way I can get another 1 year contract.

My play is to eventually get into the situation where I can alternate between my two lines and potentially get a new device at a discount every 5 months or so.

Long answer, but I wont be paying full price for the Incredable. My Moto Droid is doing fine for now.

i wonder if there will be a larger influx of members than there was when the moto droid launched.

i used to be on CB too, but i didn't post much, more of a lurking reader.


i have to say though, AC are the friendliest and most helpful forums i've been on, ever.

I got the Eris back in Jan (really pissed now), so Im going to beg our company device rep to some how let me buy at contract price since I influence purchase decisions .

I paid retail for my Moto DROID back at launch time. My NE2 is in five months(November) but I think I will pay retail in case some nice phones are out at the end of the year..

I was on CB when I had my Storm. Still love the look and feel ofthe phone.

If DA gives a good review of the Incredible I will be buying at full retail. My wife just asked me to get her a GPS so what I heard was "buy yourself a new phone and give me your Droid".

and i'm currently an Abuser on CB. i love the forums there and still post since I still own a Tour. the forums there are really great and super friendly/helpful people. i'm hopeful after i get my Android the folks here will be just as nice/helpful. so far, i like what I see and read over here and look forward to the community growing. Android Forums.com is pretty crazy, and I'm not so sure I'll like hanging there. AC seems like a better place to be. i look forward to posting here along with the rest of you and learning more from you fellow Android users.

They already did. It's called the Nexus One.
