Android Central Question

As the title sugests, there's the blue light filter yellow tint present on my screenshots even though it's turned off. I've searched the forum for help, resetting the settings doesn't work. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? Thanks.

Thanks for registering. Resetting settings seemed to work in a similar case.

That's the one i was referring to. I tried resetting the settings which did nothing. By the way, i haven't used any 3rd party apps, the issue started occuring out of nowhere about a month or so ago after an update (which happened before the android 10 update, i'm in europe if that means anything). By the way, thanks a lot for your quick response! :)

Mmmmm. Try something, take a screenshot and post it here. For many people with a similar problem the screenshot was only tinted for them and not when they sent it to other people.

Also, have you checked if the problem persists in safe mode?

Another possibility could be resetting app preferences.

And another idea, check which apps have the draw over other apps permission enabled (I think this is called "apps that can appear on top" or something similar).

I would check if you use play store book any reading light to be turn off there as it was causing some issues in past

First of all, sorry for my late reply. I will try running it in safe mode first, then i'll check if any apps have the 'appear on top' enabled, as well as the 'reading light' thing. I will keep you posted. Thanks!

Okay, so, i've turned off nearly every appear on top' permission. The reading light is off, as well as bixby routines and blue light filter itself - but the filter is still there. Safe mode solves the issue, but it's too restrictive for me so i guess i'll have to live with it for a while. Thanks for your help. You guys are the best!

You have to look further your missing a app that has this reading light , as you mentioned safe mode its ok

I'm all out of ideas. I can't find anything that seems to be the issue.
I was reading that Bixby Vision doesn't work in safe mode and remembered your problem. Do you have it enabled? If so, disable it temporarily and see if it makes any difference. This feature puts a button, and probably some kind of overlay, where you take a screenshot. Long shot but worth a try.

Doesn't work unfortunatelly. I will try uninstalling/disabling apps one by one and let you guys know what works.
