Why do people buy Samsung Galaxy Phones?

Valid comments; personalities such as this are obvious but complicated.
Similar to the guy that gets beat to death because he wears the wrong jersey to a game.
When you present something that is different than what the person knows (owns, loves, purchased) than they feel threatened. And when threatened by the prospect that there are other choices out there and people are choosing them, well that just won't do.
It undermines and challenges the choices that they made and the only way out for them is through some form of aggression.
Let me ask you this; do you care what phone your neighbor, friend, co-worker owns? No, than you probably have a healthy and stable state of mind.
This needing for everyone to believe and have what you have is a slippery slope....some of the worst tragedies of humanity began like this.

My defense is that, I don't understand how you can dislike a company that does nothing to you. That's my point. Did Samsung rob your family member or something? I know before they were copycats but know they are a household name in smartphone and make good phones. That's why I don't understand dislike/hate towards them. If you don't like their products fine. But I am pretty sure there are things in the world that are better deserving of hate or dislike.

But like your post this is an opinion and nothing more.

Well thank you how much do I owe for that analysis doctor I'm sure there are plenty of scenarios of people not choosing what I have done I just have a dislike of the phones and like I've said put this up (although I stand by what I've said) to get a good debate going not due to any passive agressive behaviour

You can dislike a company that like apple doesn't meet health & safety standards for its employees. Also avoids corporation tax but they all do that. Ok let me clarify I dislike the Fact that it comes across to me personally that in the S Range and weirdly not the Note range that very little thought has gone into it other than wee will throw in a bit of this and a bit if that and a but if the other.

A fingerprint reader that from many reviews doesn't work effectively and a heartrate monitor come on how many will use that regularly?

You have the right to act on Samsungs defence, just as much as I have the right to prosecute for releasing a below par device lol

Seriously though some elements of the S5 are fine, but for the majority I personally think that a very lazy approach is being adopted by Samsung.
Hey its business if you can establish a brand and get it to stick in minds, you can then reduce man hours for the device, lower production cost by building as cheaply as possible and in turn make huge profits.

They kinda need to with Apple constantly suing them lol

Yes but Apple sell shed loads of devices and have u ever held a brand new iPhone it's damn sexy and a very well built device they don't skimp on costs particularly even though they justifiably could their top end phones still feel premium! Selling loads doesn't give u the excuse to cut on quality with the money u pay

You mean Foxconn? Because Apple Corporation Employees do just fine. Foxconn on the other hand has employee problems.

Fingerprint reader I'll give to you. But the heartrate monitor can be good for active people along with the S Health app.

I'm confused. The S5 is one of the highest specced devices on the market and has a good camera, unlike the M8. How is it below par? Because the reasons you have given so far are weak.

Yeah on behalf of all of Android with Google with them. You don't get it do you? Samsung being the largest manufacturer of smartphone on the planet is being targeted by Apple because they are so big and Apple knows they pretty much represent Android. This is their way of suing Android.
