I have had numerous phones over the years and contacted to several different carriers. I started into the mobile communication Era back with bag phones and beepers! Progressed through bar phones, flip phones, and resistive to capacitive touch screens. That being said, I have had a Galaxy S2 and now my Note3. I definitely miss my hard keyboards like on the Palm Centro and Palm Pre and the HTC Arrive. I really miss Palm, but many of their folks are programming for Android and the more intuitive easy to use and customizable features of Android likely come from former Palm people. Samsung's large market share is because they have so many different devices with practically every major and minor carrier. I liked the S2 and have it to a friend when I got my Note3. He really likes the S2. Neither of these devices feels cheap, nor have they been problematic. I am not deluded to think that carrier troubles equate to device problems. And device troubles are not necessarily a result of software issues. I did experience major device problems back with the Trees, but the Palm software was still tops IMO . Samsung does offer nice integration with appliances, media devices and mobile devices, which is a great selling point for some folks. I know I am looking forward to getting a Samsung TV in the future. I also can see me using this Note3 for a very long time unless Samsung offers a note with a hard keyboard (until then I use a bluetooth keyboard at home).
A bit of pocket fuzz from my Note3
