I have developed a custom tablet device running on customised android 4.4.2 as a single app device. I need to have smartphones to be able to send bell type alerts to the tablet device and the tablet device is always on.
But regularly the socket or the firebase connection disconnects there i am not able to send a bell type message. How do I ensure that a connection is always maintained.
Is it the apk or the issue is in Android itself?
