Why does my phone keep restarting after attempted system update?

I just attempted to preform a system update on my InFocus M530. Everything was fine in the beginning, and then a picture popped up on the screen of the green droid mascot lying on his back with his front panel open, displaying an exclamation point. This image lasted for a few minutes, and then the phone started to restart itself. Now, it has been continuously restarting for about 10 minutes. It allows me to swipe and enter into my phone for a few seconds, then freezes and restarts again. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself?

You can try booting into recovery mode and wiping system cache.
