Samsung Tab 10.5 (2014) charges intermittantly

All of a sudden my Tab 10.5 starts and stops charging every one or two minutes. Charging 7 hours overnight only charged to 50% (from 25%). If using the tablet while plugged in and "charging" the battery actually LOSES charge.

This occurs with stock charger as well as multiple chargers (other chargers have higher output as I am aware of the higher current draw of the tablet). This also occurs with the stock cable, as well as multiple OEM cables.

I reset the Tab to factory defaults, to no avail.

Not sure if this is the cause, but I recently did an over the air upgrade to 5.0.2.

Any ideas?

Have you tried wiggling the charging cable while in the charging port to see if it starts and stops charging? Could be a lose charging port?

Not absolutely sure but I bet if you changed out the battery it would work fine. OEM batteries have been the culprit to numerous issues. Aftermarket ones cost $33 if you wanna try that if your out of warranty. Even if your in warranty Samsung service is useless imo
