You're laughing? Why? Because someone like me stands up and puts forth... Facts... About my phone's disability and others too? Or because I was under the impression that according to Google's specs, my phone came with 12gb from the factory? Or... Circling back, I'll use this woke expression... Google let out ahead of the phone's release, five year's worth of OS updates... Only to see them... Circle back... And say... well folks, it's three year's of OS updates.

Whatever! Your phone is humming along, mine has 5G disabled, due to excessive drain, even with VZ 5G and UW available. I've made my position known, and as you know, I don't post a lot in all my years here.

You're right in that the Qualcomm chips use the X60 modem.

The Tensor processor, as you mention, use the Samsung designed/manufactured 5123. One issue with the modem is that it's no it integrated into the SoC which leads to additional power draw, increased heat and less performance. The X60 modem is integrated into the Snapdragon 888 chip.

The Samsung modem isn't a slouch though, it should be working fine. I'm thinking it's more a software tweaking issue more so than a hardware fault. Yes the X60 is better, but it shouldn't be leaps and bounds better.

I just think Google has blundered with the tuning of the modem. Fingers crossed the January update fixes the issues.

Therefore, if Apple used a standalone X60 with their A15 bionic, couldn't Google have done the same with a newly designed tensor chip?

You're one of the few that hasn't it's been posted about widespread since launch. I can guarantee your phone suffers from 5G performance as there's no escaping that issue

My pixel 6 has had no connection issues on Nov update.
