Why isn't my Lollipop text preview working?

Lollipop Text Preview Not Working

I have upgraded to Lollipop today and before, the messaging app would show the text on the lock screen. I still want this to happen but I haven't been able to get it to do it since upgrading. I have to touch the notification to get it to show the message. Is there any way to get the message to appear on the lock screen without having to touch it?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Sound & Notification>When Device Is Locked, and make sure it's set to show all notification content.
