You do work fast lol and thanks for allowing me to be a tester, I should have way more time to play around with the Wildfire S after I finish my finals next week.

My finals are next week too, thursday and friday. (This project is how im getting over my break up, that and music) So that is the reason im able to work fast on this, its like whiskey it helps me forget

I am sorry about the break up, those do always suck, and mine are Monday Wednesday, and Thursday (Florida cut Friday classes as a part of the the College school week to save money lol) And thanks again for all your work.

So is there any recovering from this? I foolishly did the same thing, and I'm now the proud owner of one very BRICKED phone. (3 vibrates, no lights, black screen)

Im pretty sure you just need to download the USCELLULAR ruu and run that. No harm in trying

Thanks! Any idea where I might find that? A search in both Google and XDA has turned up nothing.

Sorry, i really dont know where to look. I know you just have to find a cdma RUU, doesnt matter what carrier or anything other than cdma. It wouldnt hurt to try all 14 on xda till one works, haha you cant hurt it any more

In my experience, with 3 vibrates and no lights, this IS a brick. I was too impatient and did the same thing to my first phone... I looked everywhere for a way to fix it... If you find one, let us know.

If you take it back to radio shack or best buy, wallyworld etc. they should replace it. Just don't tell them you were flashing the rom, or even that you turned S-off / rooted.

My new phone is currently running SSRom thanks to Simon
And it is patiently waiting for CM7 (Alpha for starters cause I would be happy to help you test some)

There has been a few questions about what apps are safe to delete, with myself asking also. Ive pretty much figured out what needs to be done but i found this great guide showing what is safe and what is not safe delete along with what it does. This isn't necessarily for us but for CM in general but it can roughly be used.

Heres what works, and doesnt.
Touchscreen DOES
Network- calling and texting does not sure of mms.
Led light for torch app does
CAMERA DOESNT
Oc wont stick for some reason
Ext is supported ext2,3,4 (thanks BobZhome)
Roaming indicator is on (dont worry, ill fix this, its not really roaming)
Wifi wont connect i dont think
Wifi hotspot wont engage, nor usb tether
I need testers, please report back with problems

IMHO overclocking should be a user's choice anyway... nofrills is what I use to keep my device sane.

I wiped the data factory reset and flashed the rom but it got stuck on the HTC screen and kept rebooting.

Hope you have a Nandroid...the CyanogenMod developers...developER working here definitely has a load of a program to modify.

Found a couple bugs, data cuts in and out, going into the camera causes a freeze, and fm radio app froze while "activating" bluetooth :'(
