[WIP][KERNEL][ROM] Wildfire S Virgin Mobile USA

Our phones dont have Radio, but i left it because of wanting to keep it as close to CM as possible (to be accepted)
The camera has a fix now, I screwed up the libs in that build. Data naturly goes in and out on VM, looking into a way to provision from this rom.
Im working as hard as i can to get this done. Hoping to have bugless by christmas, then on to ICS. I have been hendered with a bad case of pneumonia though so development is going slow

I hope you get better soon, pneumonia is a pretty serious illness.

Thanks. Thanks to the Dr's I'll be fine in a few days. Thankfully before Christmas.

That's good and Merry Christmas to you too, and also I could not get CM7 Alpha to boot, it got stock at the HTC screen and rebooting.

Thanks. And It may be a screw up on my part or mediafires i will make another rom, flash and test and upload it with the V3 kernel. OC and touchscreen should be improved.

Alright I was just letting you know sense I was suppose to test it and I thought I did something wrong lol, but don't work to hard.

Lol i appreciate you letting me know. I dont know when i will get the new build up. It takes about 5 hours on my computer, add another hour for the upload. And then this time 3 hours of repo sync to update my source

Well when you get the camera fixed, I'll continue to test it for you. I love my wildfire but I hate this stupid stock rom.

And I flashed both the ROM and kernel by themselves, and then again combined with the latest version of GAPPS, also when receiving a MMS on them I receive a message from 99999999 that reads what looks like hieroglyphs

I also feel like I'm not recieving texts when people are sending them to me. after awhile of not recieving a reply from friends I flash a recovery and get a bulk of texts:'(

simonsimons34 Contact me on gtalk and I will see what I can do tonight on the issues you have. Also fm radio left in will not matter by being accepted by cm. It is a simple config in you device folder if it includes in a folder.

As for the one that posted about putting a patch into the rom. If simonsimons34 is still doing what he has half told me. I doubt it will make it in as this rom he has you guys testing I don't believe is built from source. It is the gsm rom with stuff plugged in to get it to work. As in blobs and kernel. As I haven't talked to him for a few days on gtalk. But when i asked him what he had done so far or had in his device folder. He didn't have one or know. As I offered to setup the scripts and overlay to be correct for the phone. Where he couldn't tell me the blobs he had switched out.

No disrespect to simmon though as I had told him to start with the gsm rom and add the cdma stuff to it any way.

Not sure if that is suppose to be a smart comment or not. How ever I wasn't aware you did his latest kernel. Though if it was to be a smart comment I am glad you added the kernel to what I never said. If it wasn't meant as one then I hope it was built from source

Any way I think I have finished the device folder. How ever since simmon went to the doctor, I am not sure on the build.prop and a few other things for this side of the crowd. As I am more interested in the uscc side. Where I have merge the uscc stuff from my cdma desire build in it.

Which will fix the roaming indicator and possibly some other stuff. But you may see uscc instead of virgin. Then for the blobs he couldn't remember what he changed so I could try and fix some things. So all the sense stuff is popped in pretty much. So not sure if it will boot.

How ever I have switch 90% of the stuff from gsm to cdma. So this should pretty well be cdma. Where if it builds and someone wants to test it since I can't shoot me a pm.
